About your mentor
Before we move into the exciting stuff, I want to tell you a little bit about me. I've been a journalist for the past 10 years, covering everything from business through to, of course, motorsport. Some of my journalistic career highlights include:
- F1 correspondent for TalkSPORT
- BBC Radio Norfolk's motoring correspondent
- Presenter on Cambridge TV's Road Trip
- MSV accredited journalist
- Regular radio and television panellist talking about motorsport, cars and the future of mobility
- Route 57 ambassador
In terms of who I've written for, that list is vast but includes a variety of local newspapers and magazines, Metro, Drivetribe, Wheelscene, Gentleman's Journal, Checkered Flag and a myriad of other publications.
I've built a profile that means the work comes to me and I'm in a wonderful position where freelancing as a journalist is my full time job. The freedom that affords me means I get to spend time with car manufacturers, race teams, drivers and other organisations around the world, be it as part of press events, as an invited guest, or part of one of my own ridiculous road trip adventures. The best thing about all this, is I can teach you to achieve the same successes too.
